Brand Ethos
Sustainability lies at the heart of Jade Jagger’s ethos. As an eco-ambassador, she is deeply committed to reconnecting us with the natural world—one that is too often exploited and overlooked. In the midst of an escalating environmental crisis, her work serves as a poignant reminder of nature’s delicate balance and irreplaceable beauty. Her imagery celebrates the circular rhythms of life, emphasizing what is lost when we disconnect from the environment. Every piece is handmade, resisting the tide of overconsumption and the environmental toll of factory production. Through her art and jewellery, the brand fosters a reconnection to the organic, valuing authenticity over excess.
BEHIND THE PAINTBRUSH
“When I was a child I wanted to be ... a ballerina, but I soon turned to art and knew that I would end up in that world, somehow”
Jade Jagger began her career as a fine artist before transitioning into jewellery design in 1993. Her global travels, sourcing stones and immersing herself in the craft's rich traditions, deepened her expertise in an art form that values uniqueness and artistry over mass production. As Creative Director for Asprey & Garrard, she played a pivotal role in opening their stores in London, New York, Tokyo, and L.A., bringing the iconic house into the 21st century with her best-selling collections. Later, she launched her own brand, Jade Jagger Ltd,
where she embraced creative freedom, pushing the boundaries of her artistic vision. The Medicine Chest Collection is a body of work that links back to Jade's original practice as a fine artist, where she explores the mesmerising realm of gilded paintings that bring the
mystical and therapeutic qualities of plants to life through carefully rendered, intricate forms. This series delves into the profound world of psychedelic plants and the shamanic power of
medicine animals, where the natural and the mystical converge. Her petal painting mandalas build on this exploration, combining the precision of egg tempera with the brilliance of 24ct gold leaf. Inspired by the natural symmetry of petals and the symbolic spiral of the rose, these works invite reflection and introspection. Each mandala captures the balance and order found in nature, offering a quiet moment to turn inward and
connect with its still centre. The rose petal mandalas call us to spiral in.
